Access your admin control panel ex. http://www.mywebtv.tv/administrator.
Click on Components->Joomtv and press Options button on the top right page .
Press Live tab and you can fix general live parameters about broadcasting and display:
- Live Stream Width: width resolution live stream
- Live Stream Height: height resolution live stream
- Bandwidth Live stream: speed connection to stream. We recommend to check your incoming uplink connection availability, first to start stream.
- Framerate Live stream : number of images or frames to use stream withing
- Live stream Compression: jpeg quality image compression to use stream withing
The parameters for every different items can be setted while we create the item.

- RTMP url: it's the rtmp connection instance to streaming server
- HTTP server streaming: it's the http string connection for use a http server
- Live stream name: it's the channel name
- Application: application used. Especially used with Wowza streaming server
- Security code: it's the password or string for publish live. It work fine with Wowza streaming server
- Live stream Width: width resolution live stream
- Live stream Height: height resolution live stream
- Live stream Bandwidth: speed connection to stream. We recommend to check your incoming uplink connection availability, first to start stream.
- Live stream Framerate: number of images or frames to use stream withing
- Live stream Compression: jpeg quality image compression to use stream withing
- Live default Image: use an image waiting live event
- Enable full size stream: set Yes only if your stream is coded in H264 and AAC
- First transrated stream: if you want, live stream can be coded by streaming server at different resolution. Especially used with Wowza streaming server
- Second transrated stream: adabtive bitrate. Front-end player can switch first to second
- Enable chat: enable or disable chat system under front-end live player
From Joomtv 5 was introduced Wowza live connection counts statistics. You can see realtime statistic connections during live broadcaster (work fine on Wowza 3 and Wowza 4). To have this feature you must setup this parameters:
- Access Username: username to access Wowza Streaming Engine
- Password: user password to access Wowza Streaming Engine
- Recording URL: wowza url where deliver and active live recording
- Stream name to record: the Stream must be encoded using AAC and H264 codecs. Joom Tv Broadcaster use Flash Spark Codec, in this case write the name of the Stream transcoded
- Recording folder path: your folder path in cloud storage, the folder must be hosted on the same server where Wowza Media System is installed
